Long-awaited event set to gather ferroalloys industry leaders
Expand your business. Exchange your views. Explore prospects

Second half of 2011 appeared to be quite difficult for European bulk ferroalloys market. Decrease of steel production volumes in Q3-Q4 led to reduction of bulk alloys consumption volume (by 10-15%) and caused gradual decline of quotations. According to Metal Expert’s appraisal, demand and prices in the European market may go down again by 10-15% in 2012. Trying to keep quotations from further decrease, bulk ferroalloys producers in Europe as well as exporters from South Africa and India started to cut production.
How much will acceptance of the given measures affect the price tendency in the European market? What are the prospects of steel products market and what will the level of ferroalloys consumption be in the conditions of current financial instability in some EU countries? Should we expect the appearance of new large players in the market of stainless steel due to M & A activities in 2012 and how will it impact on the situation in Chromium alloys segment? These and many other issues of the European ferroalloys market present and future will be covered during the first “Metal Expert's European Bulk Ferroalloys Conference”, organized by Metal Expert and Business-Forum.
